WEBVTT

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:04.795
<v Wren>A $20 wristband just claimed it can stream accelerometer data live.

00:00:04.955 --> 00:00:17.675
<v Ash>MOKO's own W6 brief, version V2.0, says firmware updates work over Nordic DFU OTA, that's over the air, or J-Link, a wired debug probe.

00:00:17.835 --> 00:00:27.680
<v Wren>Huh. Until now I'd filed the W6 as theoretical. It's the only wristband with an accelerometer and button, but there was no documented reflash path.

00:00:27.840 --> 00:00:30.385
<v Ash>Now there's at least a written one, but...

00:00:30.545 --> 00:00:38.340
<v Wren>But it's just the vendor talking. No pinout, no schematic, no teardown, so the T1000-E and Xiao keep their verdicts.

00:00:38.500 --> 00:00:46.245
<v Ash>Promising paperwork, not proof. The W6 stays on the watchlist, and the full tracker's at DreamLab Research.
